• Whipcracking Demo by Simon: Live demonstration of whipcracking skills.
• Skins Touch & Feel: Simon explains all the different skins & Leather and their uses.
• Plaiting Demo: Simon shows the ins & Outs of whipmaking.
• Leather Project: Students can stamp Their own Leather Coaster or Keyring

Costs:

1-9 Students $8.00 per Head

10-20 maximum Students $7.00 per head

Personal Tours & Whipcracking with Simon Martin

Option 1: History of Business, Whipcracking Lesson & Demo, & Whip Collection Tour

What’s Included:

• Whipcracking Lesson with Simon: Hands-on lesson with provided whips.
• Whipcracking Demo by Simon: Live demonstration of whipcracking skills.
• Whip Collection: Insight into different types of whips and a tour of the workshop.
• Business History: Simon shares how the business was started and shows his personal whip collection.

Duration: 1 hour approx

Notes:

• If weather completely impacts the whipcracking lesson, you’ll receive a 40% refund.
• No refunds for cancellations by you but can be rescheduled.
• Maximum of 6 spots available per/week.
• Children 5 and under are free, no booking needed. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Option 2: History of Business, Whipcracking Demo, Plaiting, Make Your Own Leather Item, & Whip Collection Tour

What’s Included:

• Whipcracking Demo by Simon: Live demonstration of whipcracking skills. (subject to weather)
• Whip Collection: Simon tells you about all the different whips in his collection.
• Business History: Simon shares how the business was started and give you a tour of the workshop areas
• Whip Plaiting Demo: Learn about the technique of whip plaiting.
• Make Your Own Leather Item: Stamp your own design onto a leather coaster or keyring (leather provided).

Duration: 1 hour approx

• Option 1 is more focused on the basics of whipcracking and a tour.
• Option 2 offers additional activities including a plaiting demo and the chance to create a leather item, providing a more hands-on experience.
