Cowhide Floor Rug “Speckled Brown Light”

Taking Care of your cowhide:

1. The rug should be kept as dry as possible.  If stains or dirt penetrate the cowhide, it is sometimes necessary to use a damp cloth but avoid getting the rug too wet.  Always follow the direction of the hair growth while removing any stains.  Its always a good idea to rotate the cow hide rug every now and then to keep even wear and tear.

2. Don’t soak your cowhide in water or put it in a washing machine.   To keep the hair soft, brush your hide with a  plastic brush as this straightens the hairs and redistributes the oils, leaving the skin soft and glossy.  If you do spill anything on your cowhide, soak up the liquid with a sponge or paper towel.
